Confidence-Based Learning

Confidence-Based Learning™ (CBL) is a patented* innovative approach to learning based on more than 75 years of academic, commercial, and governmental research into the connection between confidence, correctness, retention, and learning. With research led by Dr. James Bruno of UCLA, CBL has been proven to:

•    Increase mastery of the material

•    Decrease the time required to learn

•    Increase retention by 7 to 10 times

CBL measures what the learner needs to learn, and then provides the sources to learn until gaps in knowledge are eliminated. CBL enables the learner to:

•    Develop and measure level of confidence in the material

•    Dispel misinformation that can lead to mistakes and adverse outcomes

•    Master all of the information being presented, not just a portion of it

SKG in mgl’s chosen partner is a leading CBL developer, offering a full suite of CBL services including:

Role and Function-Based Simulation

A major challenge in adopting a new technology or a new process is end-user acceptance. We address this challenge by creating a role and function-based simulation training from the end-users’ perspective.

We apply the role and function-based simulation to each individual job role so the end-users better understand how the new technology or process impacts their job role. The simulation highlights and reinforces frequently used functions; no time is wasted on functions
that do not apply.

This method has been proven to increase user acceptance from an industry standard of less than 50% to over of 90% and in some cases 98%.

Continuum of Leadership

The leadership pool is shrinking: the exodus of baby-boomer executives, the shrinking global marketplace, and the growing competitive landscape have combined to form a “perfect storm.” Now more than ever, organizations need to identify, assess and remediate the latent leadership in their organizations. We have a unique process of uncovering, training, and releasing new leaders called the Continuum of Leadership (COL).

The COL methodology is tightly integrated with your human resources, talent management and recruiting systems. Based on extensive international academic and corporate experience COL includes four key phases:

Phase 1: Latent Leadership Identification and Analysis

Phase 2: Individual and Corporate Climate Study

Phase 3: Individualized Remediation Curriculum

Phase 4: Leadership Measurement Tracking and Analysis

Change Management

To effectively adopt a new technology you need a committed and engaged leadership team. We partner with your organization’s leadership and provide them with a proven change strategy to help them engage in each level of human capital.
